How Does the Swiftie Rope Installer Work?
Prototype Swiftie 160
The video shows a larger prototype stainless steel Swiftie with an opening aperture of 160mm in use on an ROV (Remotely operated vehicles) for subsea rope instillation. As the video shows; the Swiftie provides a robust, cheap and efficient way to get a line around an object whatever the depth. The aperture is wide enough to give a good target size for the operator to be confident of a successful instillation even in challenging conditions. The Stainless Swiftie 160 will shortly be available as it completes it trial process so please feel free to contact us should you require further information.
